Practical training

The Studio Dermatologico Veterinario offers a practical training under the supervision of Dr. Fabia Scarampella.

The duration of practical training varies according to the participant’s needs, from 6 days (to be divided into two weeks) to 9 days (to be divided into three weeks). Attendance periods must be agreed with the mentor.

Objectives of the practical training

Activate the clinical reasoning and manual skills needed in dermatology and in particular learn to:

  • Correctly define the problems observed during the dermatological examination performed together with the tutor and set up the most useful diagnostic-therapeutic protocol to solve the case
  • Perform and correctly interpret diagnostic tests used in dermatology including some advanced instrumental techniques such as dermoscopy and videotoscopy
  • Discuss with the mentor the choice of the most appropriate drugs for each case.

  • Max number of participants per week: 2
  • Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Tutor: Fabia Scarampella, Medico Veterinario, MSc, Dipl.ECVD
  • Where: Studio Dermatologico Veterinario Via Giancarlo Sismondi 62, Milano
  • Registration fee: 400 euro + VAT
